The Elephone S9 and Elephone S9 Pro are on the way, our source at the company confirmed that much by sharing various details about the two devices in the last couple of weeks, and now we have some new info to share with you. According to the newest information that we’ve just received, the Elephone S9 Pro will sport wireless charging, and even though the source did not mention what technology will the company use, we’re guessing that Qi charging will be available for the phone. Also, the source did not mention whether wireless charging will be available in the regular Elephone S9 model, but it seems like that won’t be the case.
Now, in addition to sharing the wireless charging info with us, our source also shared two new images of the Elephone S9 Pro for you to check out. The first image in the gallery down below gives you a clear look at the phone’s front side and part of its right side. This is a real life image we’re looking at there, and the display is powered on, so we get to see how thin the phone’s bezels will be as well. The Elephone S9 Pro’s display will sport rounded corners, and it will utilize on-screen buttons. The side bezels will be almost non-existent, while its top and bottom bezels are quite thin, as you can see. The phone’s display will also be curved on the sides, and according to the previous info we were given, the phone will ship with an AMOLED panel. Now, it seems like the model that is shown here combines black and red colors, its front is black-colored, while the rest of the phone is red-colored.
The second image in the gallery shows off a render of the Elephone S9 Pro, and below it lies a wireless charging dock, this image is here only to show you that the Elephone S9 Pro will utilize wireless charging like basically any other device out there which comes with similar support. Having said that, Elephone had already confirmed that the phone’s display will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio, and that the device will arrive with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. A Type-C USB port will be included at the bottom of this device, and its loudspeaker will be included down there as well. The Elephone S9 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core SoC, though we still do not know if that very same SoC will be included in the ‘Pro’ variant, or will Elephone aim to include a more powerful processor in its higher-end Elephone S9 model.
