The Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will be made out metal, the two phones will sport curved backs, and you’ll also be able to find a rear-facing fingerprint scanner on both of these phones, and the same can be said for a single main camera. The Xiaomi Redmi 5’s and Redmi 5 Plus’ displays will sport rounded corners, and all the physical keys will be located on the right-hand side of these two phones.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, along with 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. The Snapdragon 450 SoC is said to fuel the Redmi 5, and the phone will ship with a 3,300mAh non-removable battery, if rumors are to be believed. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, on the other hand, is said to sport a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 625 SoC, and it will sport a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. A 12-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel shooter will be available on its front side.
