Ulefone had introduced the Ulefone Power 3 quite recently, and the company has just released a new promo video via YouTube, in which it flaunts the phone’s ‘Face ID’ feature. As you’ve probably already guessed, ‘Face ID’ is a feature of the Ulefone Power 3 which lets the phone scan your face and unlock the phone for you, similar to the one you’ve seen on the OnePlus 5T, for example, as the Ulefone Power 3 also uses the front-facing camera to do the scanning.
In this video, Ulefone basically guides you through the process, shows you how face scanning works on the Power 3. The first step is setting up this feature, as the phone needs to do the initial scan, of course. You’ll need to navigate to Settings, and then locate the Security option. After you tap on the ‘Security’ menu, you will see the ‘Face Lock’ option. Once you select that, the phone will guide you through the initial scan procedure, right after you set up a pin or a pattern as a backup solution. In order to setup ‘Face ID’ on the Ulefone Power 3, the phone will have to scan your face twice, though you won’t need to do any weird head gestures as with the Apple iPhone X. Once you set everything up, the phone will be able to unlock itself after you hit the power key in order to power on the display, as that is the point where it will begin scanning your face. Having said that, the Ulefone Power 3 is a metal-clad handset which comes with a huge battery on the inside, a 6,080mAh battery. This is the third-gen ‘Power’ handset from the company, and it sports 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The Helio P23 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels the Ulefone Power 3, while the phone comes with thinner bezels than its predecessors. Android Nougat comes pre-installed on the device, but Ulefone promised that the Android Oreo will become available in the near future. This smartphone sports a 6-inch fullHD+ display, and it also offers two SIM card slots, if you need such functionality.
