The Lava Red OnePlus 5T is now available for purchase in China, over a month since it was announced. The Lava Red OnePlus 5T was announced back on November 28 as a China exclusive, but as you can see, it took OnePlus some time to make it available. Those of you who live in China and are interested in grabbing the Lava Red OnePlus 5T can now do so, you’ll have to pay 3,499 Yuan in order to get it. It’s worth noting that this variant of the OnePlus 5T sports 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, and the device sports the same price tag as the regular 8GB RAM OnePlus 5T model.
Having said that, the Lava Red OnePlus 5T combines red and black colors, its back side is red-colored, while the phone comes with a black-colored front side. Other than that, this phone is completely identical the regular OnePlus 5T. The device is made out of metal, it sports really thin bezels, a dual camera setup on the back, and also a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. 20 and 16-megapixel shooters are placed on the back of this phone, one regular RGB camera, and one camera that has been implemented especially for low light. This handset sports a 6.01-inch fullHD+ Optic AMOLED display, and a 3,300mAh non-removable battery, which you can recharge using the company’s Dash Charge fast charging. The phone ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, though Android Oreo will be released in the near future, as an ‘Open Beta’ build is already available out there.
The OnePlus 5T resembles the OnePlus 5 a bit, as the back side of these two devices looks identical, save for the fingerprint scanner which is included on the back of the OnePlus 5T, but is missing on the OnePlus 5, as it is included on the phone’s front side. The OnePlus 5T sports considerably thinner bezels than the OnePlus 5, so the two devices do seem different from the front, even though they sport similar dimensions. The Lava Red OnePlus 5T can now be purchased from the company’s official website in China, and it remains to be seen if the company will release this phone in additional markets moving forward.
