Meiigoo has just confirmed that the Meiigoo Mate10, the company’s upcoming smartphone, will be fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, and that the device will ship with four cameras. In addition to that, the company has released some additional spec info for the phone, which we’ll talk about in a second, and to top it all off, the device’s design has also been revealed via the render that is included above the article, read on.
As you can see, the Meiigoo Mate10 is heavily inspired by the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, it’s safe to say that it’s the Huawei Mate 10 Pro clone, even, especially if you look at its backside. The device not only borrows the ‘Mate10’ name from the Huawei Mate 10, but it also sports that camera strip which differentiates from the rest of its backside, though, granted, all of that looks a tad bit different than it does on the Huawei Mate 10. In any case, the device does look really nice in the provided render, both its front and back sides, though chances are it will not sport a curved display, as this image indicates, but Meiigoo could end up surprising us, we’ll just have to wait and see what will happen. A dual camera setup will be placed on the back of the phone, and those two cameras will be vertically aligned. A fingerprint scanner will be located below those two cameras, while a dual-LED flash is also easily noticeable back there. Meiigoo’s branding is placed on the back of the device as well, and it seems like the device will be made out of metal and glass, while its backside will be curved a bit, at least on the sides.
All of the phone’s physical keys will be included on the left, while Black, Blue and Gold variants of the phone will be available, according to this image. The Meiigoo Mate10 will be the company’s first smartphone to launch in 2018, and the device will sport a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will also pack in 6GB of RAM, quite probably LPDDR4X RAM, while dual 4G connectivity will also be offered by this smartphone, so it will ship with two SIM card slots. This phone will also sport 128GB of native storage, while we still do not know when exactly will the phone launch, but the company is expected to release more info on its official website in the near future.
