Snakebyte Group has now announced the addition of at least five new titles from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. to its GameStore game library, starting January 31. That means that the relatively new service will have even more games for subscribers to check out, in addition to the services current library of over 400 Android games. For those who may not already know, GameStore is a subscription service for Android games. It works similarly to other paid access gaming services, such as GameFly, but centers around Android games instead of more traditional gaming platforms. In short, users can pay a monthly fee of around €7.99 – approximately $10 – for unlimited access to over 400 games for their mobile device. Games found on GameStore are downloaded through a dedicated app store which is downloadable upon sign-up and can be moved between devices as needed. Best of all, the GameStore version of the apps is said to have no in-app purchases and no ads.
With regard to these latest additions to that library, Ms. PAC-MAN, Galaga Special Edition, PAC-MAN Friends, PAC-MAN Kart Rally, and PAC-MAN Championship Edition are the first of BANDAI NAMCO’s titles to be added. However, Snakebyte says that talks are underway to add even more of the company’s games in the future. That could mean that subscribers will eventually gain access to titles from the company’s Ace Combat, Dragon Ball Z, Sword Art Online, Digimon, or Soulcalibur series. Better still, the company’s latest entry into its Tekken franchise, which only just launched today for Android, may not be off the table either.
Of course, alongside the launch of the service and the addition of even more games, the company is also currently running a promotion. Users who sign up today can receive a 30-day free trial period and will only need to pay €4.99 – around $6 – per month. Meanwhile, the company also plans to add new games from other developers on a monthly basis and each of the games is reportedly vetted to protect against malware and viruses. That seems like a fairly reasonable price so anybody who happens to be interested will probably want to head over to the service’s site via the button or source link below.
