T-Mobile just announced a slew of enticing limited time deals for new and existing customers to kick off 2018. The company unveiled a new ad campaign aimed at both converting people from competitors and also thanking existing customers. The announcement includes three categories of deals that are expected to appeal to people. The revealed categories include a BOGO on two or more qualifying devices, a sale on the purchase of a new device, or, for Verizon customers, any remaining device payments.
This is how they work. The Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offer is available for new and existing customers. You must purchase two smartphone’s on T-Mobile’s Equipment Installation Plan (EIP) which mandates that the devices be paid for in monthly increments. Note that this offer only extends to Apple, LG, and Samsung flagship devices. You must also activate a new line of service. Once taking advantage of this offer, you will receive a rebate card with up to a $750 balance, within eight weeks. If you cancel service, however, you will be required to pay back the received amount. A second offer is a $150 discount towards any single LG or Samsung device purchase on an EIP. T-Mobile also will give you money back for trading in your eligible Apple, LG, or Samsung smartphone. The final special offer targets Verizon Wireless customers. People switching to T-Mobile who owe Verizon up to $650 on device payments will receive the entire value in the form of a rebate card. Folks who bought their devices through Apple, Google, Samsung, or other payment plans are ineligible for this offer. This deal requires customers to sign up for either T-Mobile’s ONE or ONE Plus plan, and you are able to keep your phone.
The Magenta-touting wireless carrier boasts a plethora of free or discounted services available to most customers, depending on their monthly plans. Some such deals include free WiFi-calling and texting, an hour of WiFi on most airplanes, free items, food, or services every Tuesday, free international texting and data, and recently, free Netflix for all ONE and ONE Plus members. T-Mobile also offers unlimited data with all prepaid plans and flaunts the highest mobile data cap of any US carrier at 50GB. These and many more generous offers grew the company significantly in recent years. The new deals announced today will undoubtedly convince even more that the time to switch is now.
