ASUS' ZenFone 5 Lite Breaks Cover In Press Render

ASUS’ ZenFone 5 Lite has broken cover in a newly leaked press render that hit the web earlier today. The render is also accompanied by a very short list of specifications. To be clear, most of the specs are still unknown but a few have been rumored along with the new image. These are also specs which some might consider to be among the most important, or at the very least ones which most people will look at before anything else.

According to the leak, the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite will come with an FHD+ display, suggesting it will have an enhanced Full HD screen that should look better than a standard Full HD screen. However the size is not mentioned, so those hoping for a specific screen size here will have to wait a bit longer as more details are sure to pop up before too long. That said a recent rumor about the device suggests it may come with a 6-inch screen, along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU of some kind. In addition to the screen resolution, some of the camera details are also mentioned. The leak specifies that the ZenFone 5 Lite will come with a quad camera setup, consisting of two cameras on the front for selfies and video chat and two cameras on the back for main photos.

While not officially confirmed by ASUS, the leak suggests that the two rear-facing cameras will be 16-megapixel sensors, while both of the front-facing cameras are to be 20-megapixel sensors, though no other information about the cameras or their features were mentioned alongside these particular specs. Looking at the image, it’s pretty clear that the ZenFone 5 Lite will have two cameras on the front and two cameras on the back, so while the sensor resolution can’t be verified with the picture, it is visible that the phone will have four camera sensors for some pretty exciting photos. Also visible in the press image is the color of the device, which appears White, though this likely won’t be the only color that ASUS offers the ZenFone 5 Lite in as it tends to launch devices in more than just one color. The phone is suspected to be announced during Mobile World Congress which takes place towards the end of this month.
