A couple of days ago, Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) shared an image of the Lilac Purple Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, and now he’s back with the Coral Blue variant of the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. If you take a look at the image above this article, you will be able to check out a render of the company’s upcoming flagship, and as you can see, by looking at its backside, this is the Coral Blue Galaxy S9 Plus, as Mr. Blass mentioned in his post.
The ‘Galaxy S9+’ branding is included on the back of the phone, right below the company’s branding. The Galaxy S9 Plus will sport a dual camera setup on the back, as this image confirms, and right below those two cameras, a fingerprint scanner will be available. An LED flash is placed next to the phone’s main cameras, and so is an additional sensor, quite probably a heart-rate sensor. If you take a look at the front side of the phone, you will notice that its bottom bezel is thinner than its top bezel, which will make it easily recognizable in comparison with the Galaxy S8 (Plus). There are a number of sensors included above the Galaxy S9 Plus’ display, ranging from the phone’s front-facing camera and Iris scanner, all the way to its proximity and light sensors. The display on this handset will be curved on the sides, as this render confirms, and it will also sport rounded corners.
A power / lock button lies on the right-hand side of the device, while the volume up, down and Bixby buttons are placed on the left. The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be almost identical in terms of the design, with one major difference, the Galaxy S9 will ship with a single camera on the back, in addition to the fact that it will be smaller than the S9 Plus, of course. Both of these handsets will be announced on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, as the company already scheduled its Unpacked event for that date. The Galaxy S9 devices will arrive in both Exynos and Snapdragon SoC variants, just like their predecessors, utilizing the Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 processors. The Galaxy S9 is expected to ship with 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S9 Plus will probably include 6GB of RAM, though none of that has been confirmed by the company just yet.
