The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have been leaking out like crazy over the last couple of months, and some new info has just popped up. Over the weekend, Orange.ro, a carrier website in Romania, published a product page of the Galaxy S9. As you can see, Orange.ro more or less confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will sport a 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, while force touch has also been mentioned, and it probably refers to the phone’s home key, as was the case with the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The listing also says that the phone will ship with a Dual Pixel 12-megapixel snappers, while aperture will be able to dynamically change between f/1.5 and f/2.4. The camera details have been mentioned already in a leak which surfaced last month, and it seems to be a rather interesting feature, it remains to be seen if it will be useful in practice, though. Orange.ro’s listing also confirmed that the device will support 4G+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, though the processor info seems to be off. The listing mentions the Exynos 8895 64-bit octa-core SoC as the processor of choice, but the Galaxy S9 will almost certainly be fueled by the Exynos 9810 in Europe, Samsung’s all-new flagship SoC.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 will launch alongside its big brother, the Galaxy S9 Plus, and the two phones will land on February 25, as Samsung already announced that press event. Those two phones will be introduced in Barcelona, as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. Having said that, the Galaxy S9 will be made out of metal and glass, it will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single camera on the back, while the Galaxy S9 Plus is expected to ship with a dual camera setup on the back. Android Oreo is expected to come pre-installed on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, while Samsung Experience 9.0 UI will be included on top of it.
