Samsung has released an infographic that details the Samsung Experience 9.0 software features. This new software, which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo, will have plenty of new and improved features to pay attention to if you’re the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy device that is scheduled to get an update that will include this new version of the user interface. In regards to the new changes coming, Samsung highlights some of the more notable features like a more convenient keyboard. This will contain a number of different components that make up the added convenience, but some of those components, such as the customizable toolbar with buttons for adding emoji and stickers, and the simplified keyboard settings which really seems to cut down on the amount of options that users will have to contend with when entering this menu, are sure to be some of the more beloved tweaks.
Search results are going to be faster too. To be more specific, this refers to the search results you’ll get when searching for stuff using the “Finder” feature from the apps screen. According to Samsung Finder has been updated in the Samsung Experience 9.0 software to include results from the Galaxy Apps Store and the Google Play Store. Recommendations will also pop up faster when typing in a keyword.
One of the more unique and interesting features will be the Color Lens option. Not too unlike the blue light filters you’ll see implemented in many of the most recent smartphones and tablets, Color Lens essentially lets you add these color filters to the display with the intent of making them easier on the eyes in the event you’re planning on browsing for extended periods of time, or if you’re simply browsing at night and you want something less harsh than bright white backgrounds. Samsung is going to be offering a range of different color filter options, from blue to cyan to magenta to orange. You’ll even find options like chartreuse green. If you share a phone, then you’ll now be able to add two different accounts for the same app for chatting thanks to the new Dual Messenger option. This can also come in handy for people who don’t share a phone but do have multiple accounts for the same types of services.
