Ulefone Armor X To Sport Wireless Charging; Launching At MWC

Ulefone is planning to announce a new smartphone at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the Ulefone Armor X. Our source at the company shared an image of the device itself, which essentially shows the phone from all angles, so there’s not much to hide in terms of the design. In addition to that, some additional information was revealed. The Ulefone Armor X, as many of you managed to deduct, based on its image, will be a rugged smartphone, and that is noticeable instantly based on the provided image. Let’s talk more about the device, shall we.

The Ulefone Armor X will sport an 18:9 display aspect ratio, though we still do not know how large will its display be. This phone will also be IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, This handset will sport several physical keys on its body, in addition to the power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons, it will also feature a PTT (Push-to-Talk) button as well, which is easily noticeable thanks to the provided image. The Ulefone Armor X will ship with a set of capacitive buttons below its display, multitasking, home and back buttons, respectively. A dual camera setup will be included on the phone’s back side, along with a dual-LED flash. It seems like some rubber will be included on the back of the Ulefone Armor X as well, which should help with grip quite a bit, and the same goes for protection if you drop your phone. Speaking of which, this phone seems to be rather well protected all around, as its corners are covered as well, so it does seem like it can take a punch without an issue.

It seems like Ulefone combines metal and rubber when this smartphone’s build materials are concerned, at least based on the provided image. A 3.5mm headphone jack will be placed on the top of the phone, while a charging port is included on the bottom. Both of those ports are covered with flaps, it seems, probably in order to help out with water resistance. It seems like this phone will also offer wireless charging, which is a nice addition. We’re still not sure how much will the Ulefone Armor X cost, but it won’t be expensive, that’s for sure.
