Upcoming Nokia 7 Plus Leaks In New Press Render

Evan Blass has just shared yet another render of the Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia’s upcoming Android One handset. The leakster showed off both front and back sides of the Nokia 7 Plus last week, and now we get to see the front side of the phone yet again, though this time the image is considerably larger and sharper at the same time. As you can see, the Nokia 7 Plus will sport Nokia’s branding in the upper-right portion of its front side, the device’s display will sport rounded corners, and bezels won’t be thick at all, especially side bezels. The Nokia 7 Plus will utilize on-screen buttons, it seems, while its physical keys will be placed on the right, which is clearly noticeable in the provided image.

You will notice that February 25 is highlighted on the phone’s display, which probably means that the device will be announced on that date, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Now, in his previous tweet, Mr. Blass said that the Nokia 7 Plus will be an Android One smartphone, and if that’s true, then it will become the company’s very first Android One smartphone. The phone will ship with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a dual camera setup on the back. A dual-LED, dual-tone flash will be placed next to those two cameras, and the company’s logo will be present on the back of the device as well. Now, the phone is said to arrive in two color variants, Pearl White and Black with orange accents. The white-colored Nokia 7 Plus will sport a white back, orange accents on the back, and a black front. The black-colored model will sport a black back, with orange accents, and a regular black front side.

If rumors are to be believed, the Nokia 7 Plus will be fueled by the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Qualcomm’s mid-range SoC. The device will also pack in 4GB of RAM (6GB of RAM variant is also a possibility), while a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display is expected to be included in the Nokia 7 Plus package as well. A 16-megapixel snapper is expected to be available on the phone’s front side, while 12 and 13-megapixel cameras are rumored to be included on the phone’s back side. Android 8.0 Oreo will probably come pre-installed on this handset, and we’re looking at stock Android here, as the Nokia 7 Plus will, allegedly, be a part of Google’s Android One project, as already mentioned.
