Huawei’s new flagship handsets, the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, will be announced on March 27, and it seems like some P20 camera samples now surfaced, though they’re cropped quite a bit. Three images popped up, and by looking at Exif details, it was revealed that these images were taken using one of the P20 devices, thanks to the ‘EML-AL00’ model number. Now, we are unable to say which of the three phones took these images, at least not yet, but it is worth noting that the P20 Lite already got announced in Poland, so it remains to be seen if the company will announce it in Paris next to the P20 and P20 Pro.
Now, all of these three camera samples are showing off the same model, though all three images are different. Having said that, the quality of the images is really good, colors are spot on, punchy, while there’s plenty of detail here as well. It is worth noting that these images were take in a studio, most probably, that at least seems to be the case, based on simply looking at them. Lighting is also sport on, and it definitely seems like these were taken by a professional in a controlled environment. Now, the Huawei P20 Pro is expected to ship with three cameras on its back, while the P20 and P20 Lite come with two snappers. The Huawei P20 Pro and P20 will include Leica’s lenses as well, while that is not the case with the Huawei P20 Lite, just in case you were wondering.
Now, the Huawei P20 Lite had already been announced, and it sports a 5.8-inch fullHD+ display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The phone is fueled by the Kirin 659 64-bit octa-core SoC, and it sports a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. As far as the other two P20 phones are concerned, they will be considerably more powerful than the P20 Lite. The Huawei P20 Pro and P20 will both be fueled by the same SoC, Huawei’s flagship processor, the Kirin 970, which is already fueling several Mate 10-branded smartphones. The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will be made out of metal, and sports a display notch, just like the Huawei P20 Lite. Android Oreo will come pre-installed on the two P20 flagships, while Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0 skin will ship on top of them, unless Huawei opts to introduce EMUI 8.1 during the launch event.
