Details of the upcoming Huawei P20 series devices have leaked yet again revealing their RAM and storage variants along with the expected retail prices in Europe. The Huawei P20 will reportedly be available with a 5.8-inch display, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage at a price of €679 (~$834). Whereas, the P20 Pro will get a tad larger 6.1-inch display according to the leak, bundled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage while being priced at €899 (~$1,105). The report further adds that Europe will get only the aforementioned storage variants, but other markets may get some more. An alleged photo of the two devices has also been included revealing a design that is in line with the previous leaks.
Huawei has scheduled an event for March 27 in Paris to announce the P20 and P20 Pro. The China-based smartphone maker was previously expected to announce the P20 Lite model alongside the other two P20 series devices next week, but it has already been made official in certain markets including the Czech Republic and Poland. The Huawei P20 Lite, also known as the Nova 3e, comes sporting a 5.84-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels in a 19:9 aspect ratio. Being the lowest end of the three, the handset is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There are two cameras on the back with 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel resolution along with a 16-megapixel camera sensor on the front.
The most prominent aspect of all the P20 series devices is their iPhone X-inspired cut out on the top, pushing the display further towards the edges, at least from the top. A significantly thick bottom bezel is still present which houses the fingerprint scanner on the P20 and P20 Pro, as per the leaked photos, while the P20 Lite features a rear-placed one. Another differentiating factor of the Pro variant will be its triple-rear camera setup, that had recently leaked in a set of case renders. The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will reportedly be getting Huawei’s in-house flagship SoC HiSilicon Kirin 970 along with a higher RAM capacity.
