It seems like the Lake Blue and Rose Gold Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro variants will be made available in India on March 7. Xiaomi had introduced the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India on February 14, and the company already hosted a first flash sale for the two phones in the country, but during that flash sale, only Black and Gold variants of the two phones were made available, while Xiaomi introduced the two devices in four color variants. Well, the company’s second flash sale is coming on February 28, and Xiaomi more or less confirmed that the other two variants will be made available during that flash sale, by promising a ‘surprise’ for its fans.
Now, we’re only guessing that Xiaomi will offer the other two color variants to its fans on February 28, though there’s also a chance that the company is teasing a 6GB RAM Redmi Note 5 Pro model, as only its 4GB RAM variant was made available on February 14. In any case, we’ll have to wait until March 7 in order to be sure, so if you’re interested in either of the two phones, and you live in India, be ready, as chances are that both the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro will be sold out soon after they go on sale, similar to what happened during the first flash sale. Xiaomi actually managed to anger some of its fans following the first flash sale, as both devices were sold out extremely fast, while a ton of them were unable to access Flipkart’s listing of the two phones at all, thus preventing them from purchasing either of the two devices.
Both of these smartphones were introduced in India, initially, but they’re set to arrive to China on March 16. Xiaomi had already teased the announcement in China by releasing some teasers, which confirmed the aforementioned launch date, though it’s still unknown whether both phones will arrive to China, or only one of them. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro are also expected to arrive in a number of other markets, eventually, though Xiaomi did not confirm anything just yet.
