The Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus are now available for pre-order on Amazon UK. Both of these devices were introduced last month during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and we’re looking at Android Go and Android One smartphones here, respectively. The Nokia 1 comes in Dark Blue and Warm Red color variants, and it is priced at £79.99, while the Nokia 7 Plus can be purchased in Black and Copper color options, and it costs £349.99 on Amazon UK. Both listings note that shipments will commence on April 30, so that’s over a month away at this point.
Interestingly enough, at the time of writing this article, only these two handsets were made available via Amazon UK, though the rest of HMD Global’s lineup is expected to pop up on Amazon UK soon as well, including the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 6 (2018) and the Nokia 8110 4G. The Nokia 1 is an entry-level smartphone, and as already mentioned, it comes with Android Go version of Android 8.0 Oreo. A 5-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of the device, and the phone is 9.5mm thick.
The Nokia 7 Plus, on the other hand, is an Android One device, and it comes with a stock version of Android, essentially. This handset sports thin bezels, a dual camera setup on its back, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The Nokia 7 Plus is considerably more powerful than the Nokia 1, it features a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels this phone, while the device sports a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display. Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the Nokia 7 Plus, while the device sports a 3,800mAh non-removable battery, and two 12-megapixel cameras on its back.
