Notch-Less Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Render & Real-Life Images Appear

The alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has just surfaced in several new images, two real-life images of the phone popped up, along with a render of the device. In addition to that, a camera sample also surfaced. Having said that, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has been leaking for quite some time now, some leaks suggested that it will not sport a camera notch in the top-right corner of its display, while other claimed it will, like a leaked hands-on video which surfaced quite recently. Well, if these newly-leaked images are to be believed, a front-facing camera notch will not be present, and the device will sport extremely thin bezels.

If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will be able to see the alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S up close and personal. This handset, when you look at it from the front side, definitely resembles the Vivo Apex, as it has extremely thin bezels. This handset sports a really thin ‘chin’ below the display, while the rest of its bezels are even thinner than that. The power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons are included on the right side of this phone, and the device is clearly running MIUI OS, Xiaomi’s very own Android skin. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while we don’t really get to see the phone’s back side, at least in those two real-life images. The phone’s render, which also surfaced, does show off the Mi MIX 2S’ back side, though, and as you can see, the device will sport a horizontally-aligned dual camera setup on the back, if this image is legit, of course. We’ve already seen a leak of the phone with a vertically-aligned dual camera setup, so… we’re still not sure as to what to expect, but it seems like the phone will sport two cameras, that much is almost certain.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC, Xiaomi already confirmed that a while back, while the company also confirmed that the Mi MIX 2S will be announced on March 27 at an event in Shanghai. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will ship with MIUI 9 out of the box, while chances are it will be made out of metal and glass, while a ceramic unibody unit is also a possibility. The phone will include 6GB / 8GB of RAM, if rumors are to be believed, while its display will measure 5.99 or 6.01-inches, depending on which rumor you opt to believe in. The Mi MIX 2S will sport a fullHD+ panel, and rumors claim that the phone will come with an OLED panel.
