OPPO R15 & R15 Dream Mirror Edition Get Certified In China

The OPPO R15 and the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition have just been certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC). Several ads surfaced yesterday, showing the OPPO R15, while the company also started taking pre-registrations for its upcoming handset. Well, both the OPPO R15 and its Dream Mirror Edition have been certified by TENAA, and thus revealed both their designs and spec sheets. Interestingly enough, four listings have surfaced on TENAA, as two variants of the OPPO R15 got certified, while the same can be said for its Dream Mirror Edition. The OPPO PACT00, PACM00, PAAM00 and PAAT00 are model numbers of those handsets, in case you were wondering.

Now, there are some slight differences when it comes to spec sheets of the two OPPO R15 variants, while their designs are slightly different as well. As far as their designs are concerned, the regular OPPO R15 is made out of metal, while the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition comes with a glass back, and that’s pretty much the only difference when it comes to their designs. Now, both phones sport a dual camera setup on the back, where you will find a fingerprint scanner as well. Both the OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition come with a display notch, and both those variants feature really thin bezels as well. Now, when it comes to specs, the OPPO R15 is fueled by an octa-core SoC which is clocked at 2GHz, while the Dream Mirror Edition’s SoC runs at 2.2GHz, but we still do not know what SoCs are those exactly. The OPPO R15 features 16 and 5-megapixel shooters on its back, while the Dream Mirror Edition sports 20 and 16-megapixel cameras, according to TENAA. A 20-megapixel camera seems to be included on the front side of both phones.

The only other differences between those two variants of the OPPO R15 are visible in dimensions of the two devices, and colors in which they’ll be available in. According to TENAA, the OPPO R15 measures 155.1 x 75.2 x 7.4mm, while the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition comes in at 155.3 x 75 x 7.5mm. Both variants weigh 175 grams, while the OPPO R15 will be available in White and Blue color variants, and the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition will arrive in Black and Red models. Both of these phones will include a 6.28-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) display, while both phones will ship with a 3,300mAh non-removable battery as well. 6GB of RAM will be included in the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition, and the same can be said for 128GB of expandable storage.
