TIDAL has gained Android Auto and Fire TV support recently. More specifically, you can now listen to TIDAL in your car through the Android Auto connection once you’ve plugged your phone in, and there is now an application on Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. For the Fire TV users, the app comes with a customized interface and TIDAL boasts that it was designed in a way to make finding and enjoying the TIDAL content easy and seamless and that it looks best on big-screen devices. Essentially it designed the Fire TV TIDAL app with large TV screens in mind.

Quite like any application the Home screen will be one of the main points of interest for this new TIDAL app and is where users will find access to all of the content that TIDAL highlights, such as concerts, live events, curated playlists and more. The My Collection screen is another point of interest for users as it boasts all of the user’s favorite content. If you find something in particular that you are pretty fond of, you can favorite it and then it’ll end up in the My Collection screen so you’ll always know where to find it.

With the Android Auto compatibility things are a tad bit more limiting, but this is no different from the Play Music app on Android Auto as it’s the same way. With the new TIDAL app, you can find and listen to music using the Explore function which lets you browse through top tracks and albums, or you can find music to listen to through the My Collection screen. For the best experience and a little more control over what you’ll listen to exactly, loading up your collection would result in a larger list of things to listen to that you may enjoy. Both of these apps are live, and as long as you have TIDAL installed on your phone it will show up on the car dashboard when you plug it in. For Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, you’ll first need to head to the apps section and download it.
