Vivo V9 Images, Pricing, Teaser Videos & Specs Appear

The Vivo V9 had leaked a couple of times thus far, and now a new set of leaks appeared. This time around new images of the device leaked, along with video teasers, the phone’s specs and its price point. So, basically, a ton of info surfaced, revealing quite a few details when it comes to this handset. Before we start, though, it’s worth noting that this phone is expected to launch in India later this month, though we still do not know when exactly will that happen.

If you take a look at the newly-leaked images, you will be able to see that the Vivo V9 is made out of metal and glass, and that it features a vertically-aligned camera on its back. The phone also comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, while its bezels are quite thin. This device does sport a display notch, while it also comes with a ‘chin’ below the display. The phone’s physical keys are located on the right, while its display sports rounded corners. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will be able to see some real-life images of the device, and also the phone’s retail packaging, if that’s something you’re interested in. All those images more or less confirm the design of the device, as we’ve seen that very same design in a number of other leaks, so chances are that is the final design of the Vivo V9.

Vivo Indonesia and Vivo Thailand released teaser videos on their respective YouTube channels, and those videos show off the device as well, further confirming its design. The first video confirms that the Vivo V9 will sport facial recognition technology, and a fullHD+ FullView display. In addition to that, the video also teases the phone’s 24-megapixel front-facing camera, and a dual camera setup on the back. The second video teaser is not all that revealing, other than showing off the phone itself, not much is said there. The Vivo V9 is expected to sport a 6-inch fullHD+ AMOLED panel, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the phone, while a 3,250mAh non-removable battery will also be a part of the package. 12 and 8-megapixel shooters are expected to be included on the back of this phone, while the device will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.0 on top of it.
