It seems like LEAGOO is getting ready to announce a new color option for one of its smartphones, a color option which is inspired by the Twilight color variant of the Huawei P20. Our source at the company has just sent us a render of LEAGOO’s upcoming handset, a new version of the LEAGOO S9, along with a note that this will be the ‘Twilight Version’ of the device. As you can see in the provided image, this smartphone will have a gradient back, similar to the one that Huawei included on the Twilight edition of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
This smartphone will be made out of metal and glass, it seems, while a fingerprint scanner will sit on its back side, right above the company’s logo. A rather large display notch will be included on the front side of the device, similar to the one on the iPhone X, while a ‘chin’ will be present below the phone’s display. All the physical keys will sit on the right-hand side of the phone, power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons, which probably means that a SIM card tray will be included on the left, even though we cannot confirm that just yet. The back side of the device reminds us of both the iPhone X, and the Redmi Note 5 Pro, due to the design of the dual camera setup on this handset. This phone basically looks like a blend of the Huawei P20 Twilight edition, iPhone X, OPPO R15, and the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Now, we’ve talked about the LEAGOO S9 on several occasions thus far, but the phone is still not available for purchase it seems. Thus far, we do know that the phone will sport a 5.85-inch HD+ IPS display, 4GB of RAM and a 3,300mAh battery. In addition to that, it will ship with 13 and 2-megapixel cameras on the back (Sony’s sensors), and an octa-core processor which will run at 1.5GHz, though we still do not know which company is behind this processor. The phone is rumored to cost around $150, though we still do not know when will it become available for purchase, even though it’s expected to go on sale soon.
