Xiaomi’s co-founder and President, Lin Bin, has just shared several new renders of the Mi 6X, while he also revealed some wallpapers that will ship on the Mi 6X. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will be able to see five different color variants of the Mi 6X, which we’ve already seen in the company’s official renders, but this is basically a reconfirmation that five of them will be available, while these renders are different from the ones we’ve seen earlier, of course.
Xiaomi will release Cherry Blossom Powder, Flame Red, Glacier Blue, Sand Gold and Stone Black Mi 6X color variants, at least that’s what they’ll be called in China. These are essentially Pink, Red, Blue, Gold and Black models, the Black and Red models will sport black bezels on the front, while the Blue, Pink and Gold ones will ship with white-colored bezels around the display. As you can see in the provided images, each of these Mi 6X color variants actually comes with a different flower on the display, a different flower is set as a wallpaper on each device, and that probably means that those wallpapers will be exclusive to specific color variants of the device, at least that’s what makes sense. The Xiaomi Mi 6X will become official on April 25 in China, though the phone will be sold in other markets, and Xiaomi is also expected to re-release this handset as the Mi A2, an Android One smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X will be made out of metal, while it will sport a dual camera setup on the back, and a fingerprint scanner as well. The phone will ship with a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, and it seems like it will be available in several RAM and storage options. The device will be fueled by one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 series processors, and it will sport a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. 20 and 8-megapixel cameras are expected to be included on the back of the phone, while Android 8.1 Oreo is expected to come pre-installed on the phone, along with Xiaomi’s MIUI 9 skin.
