Fans of the Marvel Comic Universe will be happy to learn that Netmarble’s MARVEL Future Fight for Android has received a pretty substantial update in conjunction with the Avengers: Infinity War theatrical release. The update brings new character costumes, a new movie-themed Legendary Battle, and a couple of tweaks to how the characters can be leveled up. Beyond even that, there are a few other additions to the title and almost all of the update’s changes feed off of the ambitious new movie. Of course, there are some under-the-hood changes here as well; Netmarble has consolidated the menus, made some general design improvements, and added a quick menu in order to make the UI easier to navigate.
Netmarble has included new Infinity War-inspired looks for both Villains and Super Heroes. That means that whether a player’s favorite characters include Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Groot, Thor, and Winter Soldier or Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and Thanos, there will be new costumes to play around with. In terms of Legendary Battle additions, the update brings another addition which includes three stages and characters as seen in the film. Those include Sanctum Sanctorum, Wakanda, and Titan. World Boss Ultimate content hasn’t been left out of this, either, with Proxima Midnight being included as a new boss. Finally, there are new ways available for leveling up characters, including a new Raid Level system that allows extra boost effects to be earned and a “Potential” function. The latter of those will only be added to key characters and will effectively allow for their maximum level and gear to be increased beyond the usual point. In Tier-3, more stats and skills will be available to earn for characters with Potential.
The update itself, meanwhile, was announced a few days ago and should be all but finished rolling out to most handsets with the game already installed. That doesn’t necessarily mean it will have hit everybody just yet so there shouldn’t be too much concern if it hasn’t yet.
