The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is not expected to arrive until Q3 this year, though a concept design of this handset surfaced while we’re waiting for some info regarding the real deal. This is not the first Galaxy Note 9 concept designs that surfaced, but it’s sleek-looking. This concept design surfaced in form of a video on YouTube, courtesy of ‘Science and Knowledge’ YouTube channel, and the video has been embedded down below for your convenience.
As you can see, the device is made out of metal and glass, while its bezels are almost non-existent. The phone’s top and bottom bezels are here, but they’re extremely thin, and it basically doesn’t have any side bezels, only the frame. The phone’s display is curved on the sides, and it seems to be a rather sharp curve. A Type-C USB port is located on the bottom of the phone, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the device’s loudspeaker. On the back side of the device, you will notice a dual camera setup, and interestingly enough, those two cameras seem to be flush with the phone’s back side. The power / lock key is included on the right side of this handset, while its volume up and down buttons sit on the left, and interestingly enough, the designer opted not to include a Bixby key on the phone. The device is pictured in Black, Gold, Silver, Red, and Blue color variants in this video, and the designer envisioned some specs for the phone as well.
This imaginary smartphone comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, while it features a 6.3-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) Super AMOLED Infinite display. Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 is included on top of that display, while the phone sports a pressure sensitive on-screen home key, just like the Galaxy S8 and S9. Android 8.0 Oreo is pre-installed on top of the device, while the Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 fuel the phone (region dependent). The phone sports 6GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of expandable storage. Two 16-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the phone, while an in-display fingerprint scanner is also envisioned for the device. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera is featured as well, and so is a 3,850mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4.0 and fast wireless charging.
