New Galaxy S10 Concept Features Extremely Thin Bezels: Video

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is not expected to launch for another 10 months or so, but a concept video of that smartphone has just surfaced on the ‘Concept Creator’ YouTube channel. Needless to say, this is not a leak of the device, or anything of the sort, it’s just a figment of the imagination, as are all concept designs. Still, it’s always interesting to see these concept designs, as they do look really nice in most cases, and the same can be said for this design as well, though that’s more of a personal preference.

The device that you can see in the embedded video is made out of metal and glass, while it sports a vertically-aligned dual camera setup on the back. A Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the phone, along with the device’s loudspeaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone’s power / lock physical button is placed on the right-hand side of the phone, while the volume up, volume down, and Bixby keys are included on the left-hand side of the device, while the Bixby key even sports a texture on top of it, so that you can easily differentiate it from the phone’s volume keys. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while the bezels on this device are extremely thin, they’re noticeably thinner than on the Galaxy S9. Plenty of sensors are included above the display, you will notice a couple of them on each side of the phone’s earpiece. Samsung’s branding sits on the back of the device, while the designer envisioned this smartphone in several color variants, Red, Silver, Blue, and Black, all of which you can check out in the provided video.

The device’s display is curved on the sides, and that curve seems to be more pronounced than on the Galaxy S9. The designer envisioned this smartphone to sport two 12-megapixel shooters on the back, with sensors that are 25-percent larger than the ones on the Galaxy S9. Rear-facing cameras on this imaginary handset come with variable aperture, just like the Galaxy S9’s cameras, though this time around we’re looking at a variable aperture f/1.5 – f/2.7.
