New Teaser For Black Shark Handset Appears, Design In Focus

The upcoming Black Shark gaming smartphone has been all over the news lately, and the company has just released a new teaser image for the upcoming device. If you look at the provided image, you will be able to get the best look at the phone thus far, even though the design is still a mystery considering that this image is purposely dark in order to conceal parts of the phone’s design.

The image reveals that the power key will be included on the right-hand side of the device, while it also reveals that the phone will not look like a gaming console, as a recent leak suggested. The company’s CEO already confirmed that the previously-leaked renders are fake, but this new image, that the company shared, confirm that the device will actually look like a regular smartphone. Corners of the Black Shark smartphone will be curved considerably, and the phone’s frame will be made out of metal, we don’t really get to see the back side of the device, but chances are that metal will be included on the back of the device as well. That is more or less all the info that this image reveals, it’s too dark for us to see how thick will the phone’s bezels be, while we don’t even get to see if there’s a button located below the phone’s display, though chances are there’s not.

Black Shark had confirmed recently that this smartphone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845, while Xiaomi confirmed that it invested in the Black Shark company. It remains to be seen if the Black Shark gaming smartphone will carry Xiaomi’s branding or not, we’ll be able to find out really soon, as the Black Shark gaming handset is expected to launch on April 13, that is also something that Black Shark already confirmed. In addition to the Snapdragon 845 SoC, Black Shark’s gaming smartphone will also ship with a larger display, and a large battery, as this is a gaming smartphone after all. The phone will also include plenty of RAM, and if AnTuTu is to be believed, the Black Shark gaming handset will ship with a fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, 8GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, well, at least one variant of the device will. AnTuTu also revealed that Android 8.0 Oreo will come pre-installed on the device.
