OnePlus Shares First OnePlus 6 Reactions Via Official Video

The OnePlus 6 will arrive on May 16, so its announcement is right around the corner, and in order to hype up its arrival, the company gave a few fans a sneak peak at the device prior to its launch, and filmed their reactions, of course. This video was published via the company’s official YouTube channel, and OnePlus notes that the fans were shown early prototypes of the OnePlus 6. It is also worth noting that these reactions were recorded at Open Ears Forum in San Francisco, which took place quite recently.

OnePlus’ fans seemed quite impressed with the design of the device, while they also threw out some comments regarding the phone’s glass back. One of the fans was surprised at how grippy the phone is considering that it is made out of metal and glass, and the other one was extremely happy because the headphone jack is included on the device. The ‘texture’ of the phone received a couple of comments as well, we’re presuming the texture of its back. Now, either that glass back has some sort of texture on it, which is not that probable, or fans were given several different models to check out, as the company is quite probably planning to release several different models of the device, while it is also possible you will be able to replace that back cover on the device, even though that’s not that likely. One of the fans said that the phone is “freakishly fast”, while the other one said that the notch does not bother him, even though he was “really against it”, he also added that the display notch is quite small.

OnePlus had already confirmed that the device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, and that the most powerful variant of the device will include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage. The phone will sport some sort of IP certification for water and dust resistance, while the display notch was also confirmed. You will find the ‘Designer by OnePlus’ engraving on the back of every OnePlus 6 unit, while an alert slider will make a comeback as well, though it will sport somewhat different design than before.
