TCL Announces Pricing On Its 6-Series Roku TV Sets

TCL unveiled a slew of new TV’s during CES back in January, including the 6-series which sports the latest version of Roku’s operating system. Now those TV’s finally have pricing, and TCL is also offering a special pre-order price for those that want to pre-order one of these TV’s before they go on sale. According to TCL, these TV’s are all available now at just about every retailer in the US, with the 55-inch model going for $659, and the 65-inch going for $999.

The 6-Series is the successor to the P6-series that the company debuted in 2017, and won a few awards for. These are all 4K HDR TV sets with Roku built-in, and they build on TCL’s reputation for picture performance with increased Contrast Control Zones. TCL has also added in Dolby Vision HDR to the 6-Series, so you’re going to get a greta picture here, with astonishing brightness and captivating color. There’s also HDR Pro Gamma, which is going to give you great HDR performance in any environment, even in a bright room. And of course, these are Roku TVs, which means that they do also come with a Roku TV Voice Remote, which has enhanced voice control which does include the ability to tune to local antenna broadcast channels as well.

The Roku platform has a ton of apps and games that do have plenty of content to watch, so these TVs are going to be great for cutting the cord from your cable company. Roku boasts that it has over half a million movies and TV shows available – though at this point, it’s likely much more. All of the usual apps and games are there, including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, HBO GO, DIRECTV NOW, SHOWTIME and many more. So it’s definitely worth picking up. TCL is also boasting the incredible performance on these two TVs right now, with HDR Performance Package Pro on the 6-Series TVs, with Wide Color Gamut and NBP Proton technology, which is going to provide more realistic colors, in addition to the HDR Pro Gamma that is also included. The TCL 6-Series is available now from Amazon for $649 and $999 for the 55-inch and 65-inch models respectively, which you can pick up from the links down below.
