Nubia will announce its first-ever gaming handset tomorrow, the Nubia Red Devil, and a couple of new teaser images of the device have just surfaced. Having said that, this smartphone will be announced by the company’s new ‘Red Magic’ sub-brand, and the two images that are included in the gallery down below follow yesterday’s blurry render of the smartphone that popped up, and an official teaser image that was shared by the company’s CEO, Ni Fei, a couple of days ago.
If you take a look at the first image down below, you will notice that the phone will be made out of metal, and that its SIM card tray will be accessible from the left. The second image shows off the phone’s power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons, along with a red-colored button in the upper portion of the phone’s right side. This exact same phone leaked in that blurry render we’ve mentioned a moment ago, so chances are this is the phone’s final design. We still do not know what will be the purpose of that red-colored button on the phone’s right side, but it is possible that it will have a similar use to the ‘SHARK’ key on the Xiaomi Black Shark, in other words, it may be gaming-related. Based on the image that surfaced yesterday, the Nubia Red Devil will sport a single camera on the back, and a fingerprint scanner right below it. The phone will also include a rather interesting LED strip on the back, and several cutouts on the back, which will be used either as speakers, or as part of a cooling system for the device.
The Nubia Red Devil will launch in China, at least at first, and it will ship with a rather large display, we’re guessing that its panel will measure at least 5.99 inches, and it will probably be a fullHD+ panel. The device will include 8GB of RAM on the inside, though a 6GB RAM variant is also a possibility. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC will fuel the Nubia Red Devil, while this handset will be a direct competitor to the Xiaomi Black Shark which was announced earlier this week.
