The Power 5 is one of the latest phones to be announced by Ulefone and is a phone which looks to offer extended levels of daily battery life. This is largely due to the inclusion of a significantly greater battery than what is found on most other phones. To put this into perspective, while a majority of mainstream phones come with a battery capacity between 3-400 mAh, the Power 5 boasts a 13,000 mAh capacity battery. Easily cementing its position as one of the greatest-capacity “big battery” phones on the market.
The phone itself has only just entered its pre-order status (April 24) and to provide interested consumers with a better view of what they can expect with a purchase Ulefone has now released a new and official unboxing video. As to be expected with a video like this, Ulefone provides a good all-round look at the new Power 5, including closer shots of the device from all angles, a brief look at the software experience, as well as a closer look at everything you get included with the purchase. Which on this occasion includes the usual suspects, such as a 5V/5A fast charger, a USB charge cable, a SIM removal tool, a warranty card and user manual. As well as some less traditional aspects, such as a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone connector, an OTG cable, and a microUSB to Type-C connector. The company also states it will be giving buyers a free “leather protective case” as well.
The unboxing video aside and the Power 5 is not only designed to be a battery-focused phone, but also a powerful phone. As this one comes loaded with a 6-inch display that utilizes an 18:9 aspect ratio along with an FHD+ resolution. As well as 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a MediaTek MT6763 octa-core processor. Cameras are also a point to note with the Power 5 equipped with dual rear cameras on the back and on the front of the phone. The rear setup is comprised of 21-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras, while the front setup adopts 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. Also in the mix is fast charging support, wireless charging support, a fingerprint sensor, facial recognition software, a shortcut button, and Android 8.1 (Oreo). As for the price, the Power 5 is set to become generally available for $339.99. However, during the pre-order period the phone can be picked up for only $269.99. Those interested have up until May 1, 2018, to buy at the reduced price. More information on the Ulefone Power 5 is available through the links below.
