LG G7 ThinQ Coming To Sprint & US Cellular On June 1

The LG G7 ThinQ was announced yesterday in New York, and at the time, LG did not release that much info when it comes to the availability of the device, but we do have some new info to share with you now, as two US carriers have announced a release date for the LG G7 ThinQ. Sprint and US Cellular have announced that the LG G7 ThinQ will become available on June 1, while Sprint also said that you will be able to pre-order it starting on May 25.

Now, in addition to this new info, we also know that the LG G7 ThinQ will be available from Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Verizon will open pre-orders for the phone on May 24, but the release date is still a mystery, though it is possible that it will become available on June 1 as well, as the company’s pre-order period will probably last a week as well. T-Mobile said that the phone is coming “later this Spring”, while AT&T did not announce anything just yet. All in all, it seems like you will have to wait a bit longer in order to get your hands on the phone, as it will go on sale in about a month. The LG G7 ThinQ is basically an evolution of the LG V30 and V30S ThinQ. The phone is made out of metal and glass, while it sports a display notch, which can be hidden via software. The phone does sport a ‘chin’ below the display, while it comes with two cameras on the back, LG has once again included a secondary wide-angle lens. A fingerprint scanner sits on the back of the phone, and the device’s camera, display, and audio capabilities are the highlights here.

The LG G7 ThinQ comes with a 6.1-inch QHD+ Super Bright display (up to 1,000 nits), while the company announced both 4GB (LG G7 ThinQ) and 6GB RAM (LG G7 Plus ThinQ) variants of the phone. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it includes a 3,000mAh battery on the inside. A 16-megapixel dual camera setup is included on the back of this device, while the phone comes with Android 8.0 Oreo, with LG’s custom UI on top of it. LG has included a quad DAC inside of this phone, while the device is 7.9mm thick, and it comes in a number of color variants.
