The LG V35 ThinQ flagship might also launch outside of the United States where it’s expected to debut this summer as an AT&T exclusive, according to a newly sighted certificate of the device issued by the Moscow, Russia-based Eurasian Economic Commission. The listing in question pertains to a device identified by the model number LM-V350EAW, whereas the one associated with the United States version of the LG V35 ThinQ is LM-V350EM, as revealed by another product certificate issued by the stateside Federal Communications Commission on Friday.
Immediately following the announcement of the G7 ThinQ in early May, AT&T said it won’t be retailing the new Android flagship but will instead be carrying an exclusive LG smartphone this summer. The product render of the LG V35 ThinQ obtained by AndroidHeadlines earlier this month indicates that the device in question is bound for AT&T given how it depicts it as being connected to the wireless carrier’s network. The image that can be seen above also mentions August 10, a possible date of the handset’s planned commercial release or announcement.
Information obtained by AndroidHeadlines last month suggests the V35 ThinQ will be a stepping stone between the V30S ThinQ and the V40ThinQ, the latter one of which is expected to debut in late summer or early fall. The handset should be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, much like the G7 ThinQ, but will ship with a 6-inch OLED panel instead of an LCD one and will boast a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC using an ESS Sabre 9228 converter, as per the same information. A 16-megapixel dual-camera setup will also be part of the package, with the main sensor being mounted behind an f/1.6 lens and offering HDR10 capture support, whereas the second one will be backed by a wide-angle glass module covering a 107-degree field of view. The LG V35 ThinQ won’t have a display notch like the G7 ThinQ and may also lack the dedicated Google Assistant button found on the company‘s newly announced Android flagship.
