Verizon Wireless has started selling the Motorola Moto G6 beginning today, and it’s priced pretty affordably, with a price of $240. That’s the full retail price, and those that want to pick it up on installments can do so for $10 per month for 24 months. Remember that if you do opt to leave Verizon before those 24 months are up, you are going to owe the remaining balance. Verizon is only selling the Moto G6 in one color, which is black.
The Moto G6 is an affordable smartphone from Motorola, which is basically what its G-series has been all about since it debuted a few years ago. This time around it sports a tall, 18:9 display, as well as a glass back. So it looks and feels like a more high-end device. Spec-wise, we’re looking at a 5.7-inch 2160×1080 resolution 18:9 aspect ratio display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is a micro SD card slot and Motorola does support Adoptable Storage on its devices, so you can really use this for expanding storage on your smartphone. Motorola has also included a 3000mAh capacity battery that should keep the Moto G6 running all day long and then some. On the camera-front, Motorola has brought the dual-camera setup to the affordable range, with a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The secondary sensor is mostly there for gathering depth information to give you better Bokeh effects and such.
Moto G6 is likely going to be a pretty popular device, since it does have some pretty impressive specs here, especially for something that is under $250. Of course, that is what Motorola is known for with its Moto G series, so that’s not a surprise. But if you are looking for a pretty decent device, that’s not going to cost and arm and a leg, the Moto G6 is definitely worth picking up.
