OPPO had trademarked the “OPPO Find X” name a couple of days ago, and the alleged device has just surfaced in a first render. If you take a look at the image above, you will see the device itself, both its front and back sides. Having said that, the first thing you’ll notice is probably the last of a fingerprint scanner, as that sensor is probably included below the phone’s display. Now, according to this image, the device will sport a display notch, though that notch will not be as wide as some other notches are.
The phone will be made out of metal and glass it seems, even though this render is a bit blurry. OPPO’s branding seems to be included on the back of the device, while the phone features three cameras on the back. A power / lock key seems to be included on the right-hand side of the phone, while the volume up and down buttons are placed on the left. Bezels on this device will be extremely thin, as you can see, and those cameras on the back will not be flush with the phone’s back. Now, as far as specs are concerned, no info surfaced just yet, but the OPPO Find X is rumored to be the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, a first high-end device since the OPPO Find 7. The OPPO Find 9 was rumored to launch for years now, and we’ve seen a ton of leaks when it comes to that phone, but the Find 9 never actually arrived, so the Find X may launch instead of that device, kind of.
Now, as already mentioned, no spec info surfaced, but if this ends up being a high-end device, and it ends up launching in 2018, it will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 845, while it will ship with at least 6GB of RAM on the inside. Android Oreo is expected to come pre-installed on it, while OPPO’s ColorOS skin will be a part of the package as well. Now, we’re not entirely sure that this render is legit, that logo on the back looks to be quite large, while a triple camera setup is also not something we’d convinced OPPO would include on one of its smartphones this year. In any case, if there’s some truth to this leak, more info will probably surface in the near future.
