Ulefone Compares Armor Mini & The Nokia 3310 (2017): Video

Ulefone is heavily promoting its new Armor Mini cellphone, and the video that the company just published is a part of that promotional push. Ulefone has decided to compare the Ulefone Armor Mini and the Nokia 3310 (2017), well, sort of. Ulefone decided to treat both phones as rugged smartphones in its tests, for some reason, even though the Nokia 3310 (2017) is not one such device, unlike the Ulefone Armor Mini.

In any case, if you fire up the video that is embedded down below, you will see both the Ulefone Armor Mini thrown in water, and left there for a couple of minutes. The Ulefone Armor Mini continued performing normally, as it features IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, while the Nokia 3310 (2017) is not water or dust resistant, so the phone basically died after that test. The second test included dropping both phones from waist-height, the Ulefone Armor Mini continued functioning normally, while the Nokia 3310 (2017) had issues displaying content on the display. A number of additional drop tests followed the initial one, as Ulefone decided to throw around both devices randomly, after which the Nokia 3310 (2017) was destroyed completely, while the Ulefone Armor Mini was just fine.

These durability tests are not exactly a fair fight, as the Nokia 3310 (2017) was not made for withstanding drops or swimming, but Ulefone just wanted to emphasize how durable its phone is, probably. The Ulefone Armor Mini was announced a while back, and it is available for purchase for only $29.99. This price point will be valid for the next three days, after which the phone’s price tag will jump back to $49.99. The Ulefone Armor Mini, much like the Nokia 3310 (2017), is not a smartphone, it’s a regular cellphone. The device sports a 2,500mAh battery, two SIM card slots, and it is fueled by the MediaTek TM6261D processor. The device features a 0.3-megapixel camera on the back, and it sports a 2.4-inch display.
