Weekly Poll: Are You Buying The LG G7 ThinQ?

LG’s G7 ThinQ is here following the official announcement from earlier this week, and while you won’t be able to actually buy the phone just yet it’s been said to be launching in the U.S. from June 1 on at least two carriers – Sprint and U.S. Cellular. This likely means that T-Mobile and Verizon will follow and launch the phone on or around the same date. AT&T will not, as it has reportedly confirmed that it won’t be selling the device and will instead carry an LG phone that will exclusively launch on its network. LG is also likely to sell an unlocked model for those that would rather have one that isn’t locked to a carrier.

With only one major carrier not selling the phone there are plenty of options for those that want to buy this device, and should they choose to do so they’ll be getting some interesting and probably quite useful features, such as the physical Google Assistant button among other things. That in particular can be a great way to utilize Google Assistant when out in public if you’re not too fond of speaking to it when around strangers. With the physical button you can simply tap it to activate, then type out your requests – simple and unobtrusive.

The G7 ThinQ also has a handful of A.I. features embedded into it for the camera, making it a rather smart camera to use for photos and such. Of course it’s also packed with the latest hardware for flagships, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and it comes with a decently-sized screen for interacting with and viewing content. Though it does come with the notch which not everyone will be fond of, LG did add the ability to hide it, so there is at least that option. If you like to personalize things, the LG G7 ThinQ will also be coming in five different colors, so you’ll have your choice here to pick the one that fits you best. Are you planning to buy one?
