Xiaomi Mi 7's Alleged Cases Leak With Dual Camera Cutouts

The Xiaomi Mi 7’s alleged cases have leaked online. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will see a couple of images of two different cases for the phone, though both cases seem to be made out of silicone. The first case is a black-colored one, while the second is a see-through silicone case. These two cases suggest that the Mi 7 will sport a vertical dual camera setup on the back, similar to the Mi MIX 2S and Redmi Note 5 Pro, while they also suggest that the phone will ship without a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is not exactly a surprise as its predecessor did not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the same goes for a number of Xiaomi-branded smartphones since then.

As you can see, there are cutouts for a Type-C USB port, loudspeaker, and a microphone on the bottom of these two cases, while a cutout for a noise-canceling microphone is also located on the top of these two cases. If these two cases are to be believed, the Mi 7’s power / lock, volume up and volume down buttons will be located on the right, which probably means that its SIM card tray will be accessible from the left. A cutout for a fingerprint scanner is not included on the back of these two cases, which probably means that the phone will either ship with a regular fingerprint scanner below its display, or an in-display fingerprint scanner which we’ve already seen on some Chinese phones. The Xiaomi Mi 7 is expected to arrive in the near future, and if a recently-leaked teaser is to be believed, the phone may arrive as soon as May 23, though the company still did not confirm that.

The Xiaomi Mi 7 will be the company’s second flagship smartphone of 2018, following the Mi MIX 2S, though the Mi 7 will be noticeably smaller than the Mi MIX 2S. The device will probably be made out of metal and glass, as it will ship with wireless charging. We also know that the Mi 7 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, which is something the company’s executives confirmed a while back. The device will probably arrive in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, while you can expect to see considerably thinner bezels on this phone compared to its predecessor, while a larger display will also be included.
