Xiaomi Mi Band 3 User Manual Leaks, Device Launching Soon

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 fitness tracker is expected to launch on May 31, and its user manual has just surfaced in China. The Mi Band 3 will be the fourth fitness tracker Xiaomi will announce, and it will be announced alongside the Mi 8 on May 31, if rumors are to be believed. Xiaomi had already confirmed that the Mi 8 will drop on said date, and even though the company teased the arrival of Mi Band 3, and said that there are several devices coming on May 31, the company still did not confirm that one of those devices is the Mi Band 3.

Now, if you take a look at the provided image down below, you will be able to see the Mi Band 3 user manual. That user manual is in Chinese, unfortunately, but images are included, and they do reveal some info. This user manual confirms that you will once again be able to easily remove the device from its strap, which will likely be made out of silicone yet again. Similar charging will be used this time around as well, you will get a small dock into which you’ll need to insert the device, after removing it from the strap. The display of the Mi Band 3 will be more rounded compared to the Mi Band 2, and the device will come with a home button based on these images, even though some rumors suggested that it will not. Unlike the MI Band 2, the Mi Band 3’s display will be touch sensitive it seems, at least the provided images suggest it will.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 was actually certified a while back, so based on that info, we do know that it will ship with Bluetooth 4.2, while it is also expected to come with some sort of IP rating for water and dust resistance, IP67 or 68 most likely. NFC will probably be built in, and the device is expected to support gestures as well. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 will be extremely affordable, just like every other Mi Band device before it, but its price tag did not leak yet, so we’ll have to wait and see how much exactly will it cost.
