Galaxy Note 9's Front Panel Leaks, Resembles Its Predecessor

The alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 9 front panel just surfaced online, and according to this leak, the Galaxy Note 9 will resemble its predecessor, at least at its front side is concerned. This image comes from a well-known Chinese tipster, Ice Universe, who has already shared a number of Galaxy Note 9 leaks and rumors. If you take a look at the provided panel, you will see a number of cutouts above the display, which are there for the phone’s front-facing camera, and a number of other sensors, plus an earpiece, of course. The Galaxy Note 9 will also sport a rather thin bezel below the display, and thin side bezels. The phone’s display will be curved, and a display notch will not be included here.

It seems like the Galaxy Note 9 will actually sport a similar shape as its predecessor, as its corners will be rather sharp, not as curved as on some other devices out there. According to a recent rumor, the Galaxy Note 9 may arrive in early August (on August 9), sooner than expected, as it was initially expected to arrive in the second part of August. Yesterday’s leak actually suggested that a 512GB Galaxy Note 9 storage variant will become a reality, and that it will ship with 8GB of RAM, while variants with less storage space will include 6GB of RAM. Aside from a 512GB storage option, Samsung is also planning to offer 64GB and 256GB Galaxy Note 9 storage variants, at least if the aforementioned rumor is to be believed. The Galaxy Note 9 will include the company’s S Pen stylus, of course, and if leaks are to be believed, the S Pen will be tucked away inside of the Galaxy Note 9, and it will be accessible from the bottom-right side of the phone.

The Galaxy Note 9 will sport a display larger than 6.2 inches, while Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Samsung’s custom UI. The device will include two cameras on the back, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, most probably. Stereo speakers are expected to be a part of the package as well, while Samsung will introduce two SoC variants of the Galaxy Note 9, Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845-powered units.
