The Lenovo Z5 has just surfaced in two new renders, showing off its thin bezels, rounded display corners, and a really thin “chin” below the display. Now, the provided renders also suggest that the phone will ship with a frame made out of metal, and its back will probably be made out of metal, even though this render does not reveal that. The power / lock, volume up and volume down keys are included on the right-hand side of the device, while there are no physical buttons located on the left.
An earpiece is not visible in the provided images, and it seems like a front-facing camera and all the necessary sensors are included below the display. If you take a closer look at the “chin” below the display, you will notice a couple of sensors and a front-facing camera. The front-facing camera seems to be located in the bottom-right corner, while there are several sensors included on its left, one is actually centered below the display. The Lenovo Z5 will be announced tomorrow, on June 5, and the company’s VP, Chang Cheng, had released a ton of info thus far. The company’s VP already confirmed that the Lenovo Z5 will ship with 4TB of internal storage, while he also shared several renders of the phone, showing off bits and pieces of its design. Lenovo’s VP also teased compelling battery life for the Lenovo Z5, while he also mentioned that the device will ship with at least 95-percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Lenovo Z5 is expected to support wireless charging as well, while it will probably sport a dual camera setup on the back. Its fingerprint scanner will either be located on the back of the device, or Lenovo may be planning to include an in-display fingerprint scanner here. The Lenovo Z5 is expected to become the company’s new flagship smartphone, even though its spec sheet did not leak thus far. The device is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, and at least 6GB of RAM, while Android 8.1 Oreo will probably come pre-installed on the device.
