Lenovo’s ‘bezel-less’ handset, the Lenovo Z5, will be announced on June 5, and the company’s VP, Chang Cheng, has just shared yet another image on its official Weibo (Chinese social network) page in order to tease the upcoming device. As you can see, the company’s CEO now shared a render of the back side of the Lenovo Z5, which confirms that the phone will be made out of metal and glass, and that it will have a gradient glass back, similar to the one on the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.
The provided image also confirms that the phone’s frame will be made out of metal, and Lenovo’s logo will be included on the back of the device. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the upper portion of the phone’s back side, so we can’t really see if there is a fingerprint scanner located there, nor where the phone’s cameras are located. Lenovo’s VP has shared quite a few bits and pieces of the Lenovo Z5 thus far, as he confirmed that the phone will sport a 95-percent screen-to-body ratio, at least, and that it will be able to deliver insane battery life, up to 45 of battery on standby. Lenovo’s VP also shared two additional renders of the Lenovo Z5 a while back, showing off the phone’s extremely thin bezels, and confirming that the device will not have a display notch like many other phones out there. He also shared a sketch of the device as well, proving that its bezels will be extremely thin. A couple of sample photos taken with the Lenovo Z5’s camera also got shared by the company’s VP, while he was the one who announced that the phone will launch on June 5.
We still do not have a single detail when it comes to the phone’s specs, but it will probably include wireless charging, as it has a glass back, while you can also expect it to ship with high-end specifications. It is possible that the company will include an in-display fingerprint scanner here, while the phone may be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, though we’re only guessing. If this ends up being a high-end device, it will probably ship with at least 6GB of RAM on the inside, while we still do not know how large will its display be, but the phone will probably sport a 6-inch display, or at least something close to it. Mr. Cheng confirmed a while back that the device will ship with 4TB of internal storage, in case you need that much.
