Moto E5 Supra With 5000mAh Capacity Battery Launches At Cricket Wireless

Cricket Wireless announced today that it has launched the Moto E5 Supra, which is its newest smartphone from Motorola. This smartphone is priced at $179, and includes a pretty massive battery inside, rated at 5000mAh, and it has a large 6-inch HD+ display. That means that the battery in this smartphone is going to last for quite a few days on a single charge. Making this a great phone for those looking for a device that can last a few days without needing to charge it – and the best part is, it won’t break the bank.

The Moto E5 Supra is essentially the Moto E5 Plus but with a different name for Cricket Wireless. So it sports that 6-inch 18: aspect ratio display with a resolution of 720×1440. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. On the camera-front, there is a 12-megapixel camera on the back with a flash and a 8-megapixel camera on the front for taking those selfies. Now the back may look like there are two cameras there, but it’s actually one camera with the other circle housing some sensors like the phase detection autofocus – which is still something you don’t see on smartphones in this price range. Of course, the Moto E5 Supra is powered by a non-removable 5000mAh capacity battery, which with these specs, should last around three days if not longer, on a single charge.

Cricket is selling the phone beginning today from its website and stores. So you can pick up the Moto E5 Supra for just $179, which is a pretty good price for this smartphone. Especially considering the large capacity battery that you get inside the device here. Cricket’s plans start as low as $25 per month with autopay turned on. For $25 you will get unlimited text and talk but no data. You can get 2GB of data for $30, 5GB for $40 or unlimited at 3Mbps speeds for $50. If you want truly unlimited data, that is priced at $60, which is still a good deal here. Remember that all taxes and fees are included, and because Cricket is a pre-paid carrier, the phone is priced at retail price and Cricket does not offer financing.
