A number of purported key specs of the Motorola One Power have leaked online, along with its alleged official renders, revealing what consumers could expect from Motorola‘s upcoming offering. The photos have been shared via Twitter, showing the Android one device in all of its glory and claiming that the handset will sport a Full HD+ display with a notch and boast a dual-camera setup at the back, with the main module featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and being supported a 5-megapixel unit with an f/2.0 lens. Sitting on the front is a 16-megapixel camera with a flat field correction technology used to improve the overall imaging capabilities of the device.
According to the source, the Motorola One Power will be fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor backed by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset is also said to pack a 3,780mAh batter and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The Lenovo-owned OEM has yet to give any indication of the Motorola One Power being in the works. The device is expected to mark the return of the “Motorola” branding after several years of handsets with “Moto” monikers, as well as those advertised as “Moto by Lenovo” offerings.
AndroidHeadlines reported about the existence of the Motorola One Power last week, with the original sighting of the device being in line with the newly uncovered leak. The Motorola One Power won’t be the first handset from the company to launch as part of Google’s Android One program as the Moto X4 already claimed that title last year. The Motorola One Power will, however, be the first smartphone from Motorola to feature a notch on top of its display, thus jumping on the screen cutout bandwagon created following last year’s debuts of the Essential PH-1 and Apple’s iPhone X.
