New LG G7 ThinQ Ad Appears On YouTube, Starring Aubrey Plaza

LG has just released a new promo video for its new G7 ThinQ flagship. This promo video is starring Aubrey Plaza, American comedian and actress, and the video is basically suggesting that the LG G7 ThinQ is a really fast smartphone. A smartphone user named Ryan is using an unknown device which annoys him by being really slow (in terms of performance), after which his girlfriend(?) tells him to get a different phone… and at that moment, Aubrey Plaza appears in the window of Ryan’s house. Ryan is reluctant to switch, but then Ms. Aubrey comes flying through a wall of Ryan’s house, and takes a selfie with Ryan using a voice command, which seems to appeal to Ryan.

This is a rather odd commercial, to say the least, but it’s somewhat funny, and upbeat, which many would agree is a good thing. The LG G7 ThinQ is the company’s latest and greatest smartphone, and it was announced not long ago. The LG G7 ThinQ is a direct successor to the LG G6, and the company is trying to win back some market share with the G7 ThinQ’s help. We have actually reviewed this smartphone recently, and despite the fact it does have some issues which are fixable via updates, it’s a solid phone, no doubt about that. The LG G7 ThinQ is made out of metal and glass, and it sports a vertically-aligned dual camera setup on the back. Below those two cameras, LG has included a fingerprint scanner, while the phone’s and the company’s brandings are included on the back as well. The LG G7 ThinQ does sport a display notch, and a thin “chin” below the display, but its bezels are quite thin.

The LG G7 ThinQ features a 6.1-inch QHD+ display, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of native storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, while it includes a 3,000mAh battery which supports wireless charging. The phone comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, while you will find two 16-megapixel cameras on the back of the G7 ThinQ. An 8-megapixel camera is included on the device’s front side, while the G7 ThinQ is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
