UMIDIGI has just opened presales for its Z2 Pro flagship, and in addition to that, the company has announced a new variant of the phone, the Z2 Pro Carbon Fiber variant. The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro was announced a while back along with the regular Z2 model, and while the Z2 has been available for purchase for some time now, the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro was not. Presales are now open, however, and those of you who are interested can go to the company’s website and subscribe.
UMIDIGI confirmed to us that price tags for the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro Twilight and Carbon Fiber editions are not yet known, but the luxury Ceramic version of the phone will be priced at $359.99, so the other two models will definitely be more affordable. You can check out some renders of the Carbon Fiber UMIDIGI Z2 Pro down below, and the company says that this phone will offer a premium look and great grip, which suggests that the carbon fiber pattern will not be included below the phone’s glass, even though the provided renders more or less confirm it will. In any case, we’ll have to wait until the phone becomes available in order to find out, but from where we’re standing it seems like the carbon fiber pattern is placed below the phone’s glass panel. The Carbon Fiber UMIDIGI Z2 Pro will probably offer the same spec sheet as the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro, as UMIDIGI did not say anything that would suggest it will not.
The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro features a 6.2-inch fullHD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90-percent. The Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the phone, while the device includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. 16 and 8-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the phone, while the company says that the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro supports 7 network modes and 36 global bands.
