Samsung has released a new ad in which the company pokes Apple, this time around the iPhone X’s download speeds are the target. In this add, you will see a young woman come into what’s supposed to be an Apple Store, wanting to get a new phone. She just wanted to make sure she heart it right, and asks if the iPhone X has the fastest download speeds out there, after she receives an answer, she wants to know if it has faster download speeds than the Galaxy S9, and the reaction of Apple’s employee is quite funny. The video is embedded down below, as per usual.
This ad was published by Samsung’s official US YouTube channel, and the ad is quite short, it has a duration of only 30 seconds. Now, to make things clear, the iPhone X supports Cat. 12 4G LTE, speeds of 600/150 Mbps, while the Galaxy S9 (Plus) features Cat. 18 4G LTE, speeds of 1,200/200 Mbps. This is not the first such ad that Samsung released, not at all, over the years the company had released a number of similar ads, boasting its flagship devices. The iPhone X and Galaxy S9 (Plus) are the respective flagships of Samsung and Apple at the moment, though both companies are expected to introduce new flagship phones by the end of this year. The iPhone X was introduced back in September last year, while the Galaxy S9 handsets were introduced earlier this year, in February. Both the iPhone X and Galaxy S9 are made out of metal and glass, in case you were wondering, while these handsets could not be more different in terms of general design and feature choices.
The iPhone X doesn’t sport a fingerprint scanner and it relies fully on Face ID, Apple’s very own facial scanning tech. The Galaxy S9 has a fingerprint scanner, but it also sports facial scanning. The iPhone X basically popularized the infamous notch, while Samsung opted not to include it on the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. In any case, if you’d like to check out the aforementioned ad, it has been embedded down below, as per usual.
