Honor Announces Partnership With PUBG MOBILE & Asphalt 9: Legends – IFA 2018

Honor announced today, alongside the Western launch of the Honor Play, that it has entered into a strategic partnership with PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9: Legends. The partnership makes plenty of sense for Honor to announce on the heels of the Honor Play, since the company is pitting this smartphone as the ultimate gaming smartphone. The partnership announced today, with Tencent and Gameloft, Honor will be creating some all-star gaming experiences for fans of both games.

PUBG MOBILE and Honor are working together to co-create an amazing gaming experience for Honor fans globally. PUBG MOBILE is also being announced as the Honor Play Official Gaming Partner. This partnership is going to take the game and Honor smartphones to a new level. Now for fans of Asphalt 9: Legends, Honor worked with Gameloft to create this game, so you’re actually going to get a better experience with the Honor Play than any other smartphone on the market. And this isn’t the first time that Honor has teamed up with Gameloft for the Asphalt series. It worked with them on the Honor 5X and Asphalt 8, to create a tournament that turned out really well for both companies.

The Honor Play was announced today for Western markets, mostly in Europe, and it is a big-time gaming smartphone from Honor. It’s a gaming smartphone due to the Kirin 970 chipset inside, with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and of course a pretty large 3750mAh capacity battery that is going to keep he phone going through long gaming sessions. It’s a gaming phone, according to Honor, so it makes sense for Honor to team up with Tencent and Gameloft’s biggest games that are currently available – and it turns out they are some of the biggest games available period. The Honor Play is available for sale now in Europe, and costs €329.
