XDA Developers members have managed to obtain an early APK file of the installer for Fortnite Mobile, and a Galaxy-themed skin mined from it seems like it may be exclusive to Android, or even to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9, the phone that the game will launch on. The most obvious rub here is that the skin is Galaxy-themed, and does not appear to be available in the game’s cash shop. To be clear, it is present in other versions of the game, but not by conventional means. Players on all platforms will be able to see the skin, even if they cannot get it. In any case, this development could only mean that it will either be won in-game somehow, or it’s an exclusive of some sort, in which case it’s most likely a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 exclusive.
The skin itself, as seen below, is for males only. A female version may come in the near future, but there’s obviously no word yet. The male skin gives players a pair of glowing gloves to match glowing eyes, along with long white hair and an elder god-style beard. Aside from that, and the black boots down below, the skin is a trip off terra firma, with players wearing the stars and night sky on their shirt and pants. The player’s exposed arms and face, meanwhile, maintain a similar celestial texture, but with a slight shift in the base hue so that players can distinguish where the clothes end and the bare skin begins. There’s also a celestial swirl of energy that makes its way around the player in the form of two glowing orbs with trails. The description for the skin reads, “Victory is written in the stars.”
For those not in the know, Fortnite Mobile has been available on iOS for some time now, but the Android version is not out yet, and is reportedly going to be a timed exclusive for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9. The newest phone in the Note lineup will be coming out on August 9th, and the game will likely be preloaded on the device, which means it will come out the same day.
Upcoming "Galaxy" (codename "Celestial") skin in Fortnite. Description: "Victory is written in the stars." Only reason I'm posting is it could be the Galaxy Note 9 exclusive skin.
