Philips has announced a new range of its smart lights, and with these new products, the company is trying to populate your home with its smart lights, as these are not new light bulbs or anything of the sort. The company has announced new wall lights, floor lamps, pendant fixtures, light strip, and illuminated mirrors. Do keep in mind that all this info comes from The Verge, as the source managed to get some hands-on time with all of those products, while Philips still did not officially announce any of them, but most of them are already listed on the company’s official website.
Let’s kick things off with Philips’ new products for the inside of your home, as the company will offer wall (Ascend wall light), floor (Ascend floor light), table (Ascend table light), and pendant (Ascend pendant) lights as part of its Ascend collection. The table and wall light will ship with the E12 candle bulb, while you’ll get the A19 bulb with the floor lamp and pendant. The ‘Being Pendant’ is basically Philips’ new light which is designed to be mounted from the ceiling. This device will become official on August 20, and it will set you back $249.99, if you’re planning to get it. The Enchant Pendant Light is a more regular pendant light, it can glow in white or a number of other colors, and it will become available on August 20 as well, while it will be priced at $99.99. The White Ambiance Adore Collection from Philips is basically the company’s new bathroom collection which surfaced earlier. This collection consists of a new mirror (Adore Lighted Vanity Mirror), and a flush-mount fixture (Adore Ceiling Light). Both of these gadgets will glow in shades of white only, and will ship with a dimmer switch. The new mirror light is priced at $249.99, while the flush-mount fixture will cost you $179.99, and both will go on sale on August 20.
Now, when it comes to outdoors, Philips introduced its Outdoor Lightstrip. This gadget can withstand rain and snow without a problem, and it’s available in both 7-foot and 16-foot variants, depending on your needs. This outdoor light is ideal for lighting a path, like in your backyard or garden, while its two variants (7-foot and 16-foot ones) are priced at $89.99 and $159.99, respectively.
